[edit]
Description
English: Ashkirk Transmitter Looking across the square to the old TV mast on the eastern gridline. The transmitter is one of two masts in the area, and was the old VHF 405 line television mast. Since the VHF service was shut down, it has been used by the BBC for radio transmissions. Television is provided by the Lindean mast, east of Selkirk. The land here is wet grassland, grazed by sheep and a herd of cattle.
