Description
English: Article in a German magazine from 1913 (in German language) about the new built "Kohlererbahn" (wire rope suspension railway in Bozen (Italian "Bolzano") at the then South Tyrol capital Bozen (from the Valley of the river Eisack) to the plateau of the "Bauernkohlern" or "Kohlererberg" (Italian: "Monte Pozza") in the village "Herrenkohleren" (Italian: "Colle di villa") (all located in the today's Italy).
This so-called "Second Kohlerer Road" was built in 1912 by the company Adolf Bleichert & Co. from Leipzig (Germany). At the time of her introduction (May, 1913), the road had 1650 m of weight-bearing wire ropes with an hourly achievement of 500,000 kg and was electrical practised in which a gondola was held each by two steel ropes with a diameter of 44 mm each held over 12 stakes.
Deutsch: Artikel im Magazin "Welt und Wissen" von 1913 über die Kohlererbahn (Drahtseilschwebebahn in Bozen (Italienisch: "Bolzano")) nahe der damaligen Südtiroler Landeshauptstadt Bozen (aus dem Tal der Eisack) auf das Plateau des "Bauernkohlern" oder "Kohlererberg" (Italienisch: "Monte Pozza") in das Dorf "Herrenkohlern" (Italienisch: "Colle di Villa") (alle Orte im heutigen Italien).
Diese sogenannte "Zweite Kohlererbahn" wurde 1912 erbaut von der Firma Adolf Bleichert & Co. aus Leipzig. Zum Zeitpunkt ihrer Inbetriebnahme (Mai 1913) hatte die Bahn 1650 m tragende Drahtseile mit einer Stundenleistung von 500.000 kg und wurde elektrisch betrieben, wobei eine Gondel von jeweils zwei Stahlseilen mit einem Durchmesser von jeweils 44 mm über 12 Stützen gehalten wurde.
