Slovenščina: Po kratki predstavitvi projekta PLASTiCE je imel dr. Kržan otvoritveno predavanje o plastiki iz obnovljivih virov (bioosnovana plastika). Poudaril je, da termin bioplastika ni enoznačen, saj pokriva plastiko, ki je biorazgradljiva in/ali iz obnovljivih virov, v primerjavi s tradicionalno plastiko pa prinaša nekaj pomembnih prednosti. Nekatere izmed njih so uporaba biomase -- obnovljivih virov, kot vhodne surovine za izdelavo polimerov in plastike in tako posledično zmanjšana uporaba fosilnih virov, sposobnost organskega recikliranja (kompostiranje) in hkrati vključevane plastike v naravne snovne tokove (iz biomase do plastike, komposta in nazaj v biomaso), kar pripomore k bolj ekološkemu ravnanju. |
