Description
English: An attractive corner in Brockhampton The black and white building has served as the village post office but now appears to be a private dwelling. It was formerly the lodge to Brockhampton Court, which dates from 1893 and was home at that time to Arthur Foster and his wife Alice. They employed Faulkner Armitage, a Cheshire architect, to design Elizabethan-style additions to the house and the lodge.
