| Description |
English: An Icy Pool on the Water of Girvan The local angling club has created several pools on this stretch of the Water of Girvan by building rocky dams across the river. Under the current severe weather conditions, ice has spread all the way across the dams with snow lying on top. Otters had been walking up the ice in the foreground. The river was still flowing underneath the ice. |
