Summary
[edit]DescriptionAn ATV Rider Races Across the Jean Dry Lake Bed.webm |
English: This is a long distance view showing the entirety of the dry Jean Lake bed. This BLM managed area permits vehicles to race across the dry lake whenever conditions permits. This is a self-enforced policy in that when the lake fills with water, no wheeled vehicle can cross it. Even slightly wet, the lake would be an impossible, muddy bog that would capture any rig or ATV. This lake is part of the larger BLM "Jean / Roach Lakes Special Management Area". Roach Lake is approached from a different access road and is to the south/southwest. |
