Description
English: Example trajectories of normal (on the left) and ultrapolar (on the right) in silico bacteria with friction between filaments and the bacterial surface. Only regions of relatively smooth motion are analyzed to determine the average speed of such bacteria, i.e large stalls and hops are ignored.
