Description
English: What is amyloidosis? Amyloidosis is caused by misfolded amyloid fibrils deposits which can be systemic, in multiple organ systems, like the kidney, the heart, and intestines, or localized to the brain in Alzheimer’s disease or the pancreas in diabetes mellitus type II.
