Description
Deutsch: In Geltolfing in der Gemeinde Aiterhofen steht ein eisenes Kreuz auf einer hohen Steinsäule am Kirchweg 5 vor dem Schloss aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Auf einem breiten Sockelstein steht ein weiterer Quader, auf den die schlanke, achteckige Sandsteinsäule aufgesetzt ist. Den Abschluss bildet ein achteckiges, flaches Kapitell, auf dem sich das schwarze, gusseiserne Kreuz mit Kleeblattenden erhebt.

Die Christusfigur und die Marienstatuette am Fuß des Kreuzes, sowie der Titulus sind messingfarben. Die Form des Gekreuzigten entspricht dem Viernageltypus. Maria hat ihre Arme auf der Brust verschränkt.

Am Stein oberhalb des Sockels ist zu lesen:

Denkmal gestiftet von der Magdalena Kiendl, Ausnahmbäuerin von hier. Errichtet von Michael u. Theres Fischer im Jahre 1875.
