Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Motility of LCVs in D. discoideum infected with L. pneumophila ΔlegG1. LCVs harboring L. pneumophila ΔlegG1 show impaired motility. D. discoideum amoebae producing calnexin-GFP were infected (MOI 10) with L. pneumophila ΔlegG1 mutant bacteria harboring pSW001 (DsRed). Two hours post infection, the trafficking of LCVs was recorded by laser confocal scanning microscopy for 5 min, and images were taken every 15 s. The speed of LCVs was determined by tracking the migration distance of LCVs over time. Bars, 1 µm.
