Description
English: Seen here in slow motion... Wildwood's resident bushcraft expert, Steve Kirk, shows how our Ice Age ancestors hunted for their dinner. A spear-thrower or atlatl is a tool that uses leverage to achieve greater velocity in dart-throwing, and includes a bearing surface which allows the user to temporarily store energy during the throw.
