Notes: Gift; Carol M. Highsmith; 2013; (DLC/PP-2002:038).; Philanthropist Henry Rosenberg contributed this statue to the citizens of Galveston as a memorial to the heroes of the Texas Revolution. The bronze monument was created by Italian sculptor Louis Amateis and was restored in 1991.; Credit line: Photographs in the Carol M. Highsmith Archive, Library of Congress, Prints and Photographs Division.; Forms part of the Carol M.
