Description
English: Depths shown by soundings. Includes ensign of Nova Scotia, 6 coat of arms, and drawings of three native insects and a porcupine. Oriented with north to the right. Appears in the Gentleman's Magazine, May 1750, volume 20. LC copy mounted on cloth backed paper, with creases across lower right corner. LC Maps and charts of North America and the West Indies, 1750-1789, 450 Available also through the Library of Congress Web site as a raster image.
