This media was taken when we were ploughing the Church of Christ farm in preparation for Maize planting in 2013 March. I am the one recording and talking, in the message, I was encouraging the lady, to continue her hard work. I am also heard saying facebook direct! That meant that i was going to upload her video and pictures to Facebook. The other important term heard loudly is "Bonga Points", Bonga is a word used in Kenya to mean Talk. Bonga Points are points that are given to Safaricom Mobile Users for using the Safaricom services, one can redeem the points to various things including, free airtime, internet bundles, sms, and even used to buy other goods like phones, tablets and laptops. In this scenario, the lady is earning herself points for a potential husband. This job is mainly considered a men only job in Kenya and most parts of Africa.
