Summary
[edit]DescriptionA crafty owl in Bangor - geograph.org.uk - 218301.jpg |
English: A crafty owl in Bangor. After Belfast, Bangor probably has the largest number of roosting starlings east of the Bann. Their number is swollen in the winter by the influx of migrants from Siberia. With the demolition of the old gas holder they seek out every available ledge for their nocturnal slumbers. The Brethren have placed this decoy owl on the Masonic Hall in the Hamilton Road in an attempt to deter the birds from attending lodge meetings. |
