Description
Español: Carta de Rufino Ortega (1847-1917) a Ovidio Lagos (1825-1891) enviada desde Mendoza con fecha del 15 de noviembre de 1883. Comenta que ha recibido y leído con gusto una carta que Lagos le enviara y se muestra agradecido por la distinción hecha a su amigo, el sr. Benegas. Expresa que se encuentra en un lugar apartado de la patria y que por ello no ha podido brindar su ayuda al pueblo santafesino. Advierte que sobre las consecuencias que podría acarrear a Benegas el tener que trasladarse a habitar allí, sin poder llevar a su familia, teniendo en cuenta el clima de esa tierra. Menciona que, tras haber negociado una banca en el Nacional, el señor Benegas había quedado comprometido a regresar a esa sucursal. Advierte sobre las adversidades que podrían aquejar a Mendoza y al Banco Nacional en caso de que Benegas abandonase su puesto en la sucursal aludida con la que, por otra parte, mantiene un compromiso moral. Menciona la necesidad de que allí se normalizase el funcionamiento.
