Description
Español: Carta de Wenceslao Escalante (1852-1912) a Ovidio Lagos (1825-1891) enviada el 1° de julio de 1879 desde Buenos Aires por medio de la cual le informa que la Comisión Directiva de los partidos conciliados para la candidatura de Tejedor está organizada. Se lamenta de que algunos amigos de Laspiur insistan en sostenerlo, debilitando de esa manera sus fuerzas. Aclara que se trabaja para persuadirlos. Le sugiere a Lagos que se apuren a presentar la candidatura de Tejedor a la presidencia cuanto antes para evitar problemas y la tentativa de [...] de sus amigos con el gobernador de la provincia. Agrega otras recomendaciones sobre el trabajo que deben hacer de cara a obtener la mayoría en las elecciones y de la importancia de que este sea serio. Considera una tarea imprescindible para convencer a los incrédulos. Agrega que le avisará todo cuanto pueda en caso de surgir algo importante y se despide haciendo referencia a la cantidad de obligaciones que debe afrontar y que por el tiempo de los próximos dos años no le permitirán ayudarlos con su presencia.
