Description
English: Poleward tubulin flux during metaphase of D. melanogaster S2 cells stably expressing EGFP-tubulin. Two thin rectangular region of interest (ROI) were drawn on each half spindle and bleached by a 488 nm wavelength laser beam at time 0. The speed of movement of the bleached regions was used to estimate the rate of tubulin poleward flux. From left to right: Control mock dsRNAi treated cell; KLP10A KD cell; KLP10A-WT rescue cell; KLP10A-KT2M (KLP10A Kin-Tub-2 mutant) rescue cell. Total movie real time: 60 sec.
