Description
English: Automated axial scan of inflamed human buccal mucosa. SCM segmentation of inflamed human buccal mucosa is shown spanning a depth of approximately 400 μm through the oral epithelium. Nuclear borders are identified with a red outline and field of view considered for segmentation is outlined in blue. Images cropped from this media file are shown in Fig 8.
