Description
English: *92 Laight Street (left) also known as 416 Washington Street, and with a facing on West Street, combines a six story 19th century cast iron and masonry warehouse on Washington Street at Vestry Street with a modern building on Laight Street at West Street. Called the River Lofts, the older building was converted in 2003, and the new building constructed in 2004. Architects for the project were Thomas R. Jackson and Tsao & McKown (Washington Street) and Ismael Leyva (Laight Street)(Source: Street Easy and Dwellings NYC)
  • 79 Laight Street (covered by screen), also known as the United States Sugar Building or the Sugar Warehouse, runs from West Street to Washington Street. Built c.1853 in a utilitarian style, it was converted into residences in 2002 by Joseph Pell Lombardi and Van Brody. It is located withing the Tribeca North Historic District.   • 32-54 Hubert Street (right), also known as 250 West Street, with a facing on Washington Street, is an 11-story warehouse building that was constructed in 1903-06 and was designed by William H.
