Het personeel huldigt de oprichter van het bedrijf, K. Brons. De burgemeester van Appingedam, C.C.J. Welleman, meldt hem daarbij zijn benoeming tot officier in de orde van Oranje-Nassau. SHOTS: - ext. en int. machinefabriek: arbeiders aan het werk; grote scheepsdieselmotor draait proef; - cu's Brons oa achter tekentafel; in de fabriek overlegt hij, blauwdruk in de hand, met een arbeider; - huldiging; onthulling plaquette; Welleman feliciteert Brons.
