Summary

[edit]
Description
English: View of the south end of Nassaulaan, part of the "Green Carpet" (Groene Loper) under construction in Maastricht, Netherlands. The Green Carpet is laid out on top of the Koning Willem-Alexandertunnel, where the A2 motorway ran aboveground until 2016. Around 1100 houses will be built along this 2.5 km long park-like zone. Over 2000 lime trees have been planted. The new road is destined for local traffic; the central strip will be reserved for bicycles and pedestrians.
