日本語: 冬の日本海上の筋状雲とその中に現れた日本海寒帯気団収束帯(JPCZ)の濃い雲の帯。2018年1月23日(UTC)。
人工衛星AquaのMODISセンサ観測データをトゥルーカラー(True-color)補正したもの。 赤い楕円は長白山脈。青い線は長白山脈によって二分された気流を示す。黄色い線は雲パターンの分かれ目を示すもので、黄色破線の下側と黄色点線の上側は雲列が下層風に平行に並ぶ筋状雲パターンの領域、黄色破線と黄色点線の間は雲列が下層風と直交する方向に並ぶ帯状対流雲パターンの領域。帯状対流雲パターンの南縁付近に見いだされる濃い雲の帯がJPCZと考えられる。 (気象衛星センター「気象衛星画像の解析と利用 --航空気象編-- (平成14年3月)」、2002年、pp.169-175.の解説を参考に筆者が識別し作図した。)English: Winter streaky convective clouds and its dense area by JPCZ(Japan sea Polar air mass Convergence Zone), over the Sea of Japan. |
