| Description |
English: The ticket line in the 1980s built section of Reading railway station. This area has since changed significantly, as the steps, and the footbridge to which they used to lead, were closed from Easter 2013 and have since been demolished. This has left a much larger open space behind the barriers and a clear view through to the end of terminal platforms 4, 5 and 6 that serve the Waterloo and Gatwick lines. The new, and much wider, footbridge is now 100 metres to the left, on the other side of the old 1860s station building (now a pub) and with its own separate entrance and barrier line. |
