English: The 'old' footbridge at Reading railway station was constructed during the 1989 station rebuild, along with the Brunel arcade and station car park, and demolished during the 2013 station redevelopment. It replaced the station subway in providing access to the platforms, and was in turn replaced by the transfer deck in that role.
