Ежегодно, 9 октября, во всех странах нашей планеты отмечается Всемирный день почты. Именно в этот день в 1874 году была подписана Бернская конвенция, ставшая основанием для образования Всемирного почтового союза. Белорусская почта также является полноправным членом этой международной организации и имеет два основных ориентира — повышение качества предоставляемых услуг и улучшение уровня обслуживания клиентов. Поэтому роль почты в экономической, политической и культурной жизни каждого государства трудно переоценить.
