Description
English: Host David Delk interviews Jamie Partridge, an activist retired postal carrier with Portland Communities and Postal Workers United, on the originals of the current efforts to shrink the size of the US Postal Service with service cuts and cuts to the work force. The crisis is rooted in congressionally imposed requirements to fund pension obligations for 75 years, a requirement no other business or government agency has. Citizen action is required so that those who would privatize the postal service do not win. First broadcast on July 22, 2012
