Donnerstag, 29. April 2010 09:38 Jürgen Neumann hat vor acht Jahren Freifunk gegründet. Aus der Ostberliner WLAN-Initiative ist veritable Funk-Forschung geworden. Mit der Freifunk-Technik verbinden sich afrikanische Dörfer mit dem Internet und das Rote Kreuz freut sich über krisensicherer Katastrophen-Kommunikation. Jürgen Neumann sagt, wie alles losging, wo Freifunk heute steht und welche Projekte am Horizont zu erkennen sind: Mobiltelefone, die sich selbstständig vernetzten und Telefonate ohne Telefon-Unternehmen. Im zweiten Teil reden wir über die Digitale Dividende, das 800 MHz-Band also, das durch die Digitalisierung des Antennen-TV frei wurde. Es wird gerade versteigert, soll auch deutsche Dörfer mit Breitband versorgen. Jürgen erklärt, warum die Versteigerung anachronistisch ist und welche Technik wirklich Bits nach Barum bringen könnte. |
