W Polsce w klatkach hoduje się ponad 30 milionów kur niosek. Spędzą krótkie życie na fermie, pozbawione możliwości poczucia prawdziwych promieni Słońca na sobie i ziemi pod pazurami.Trzy z nich uratowaliśmy. Kilka tygodni temu razem z innymi kurami były upchane w klatkach, gdzie miały znosić jajka dla ludzi. Dziś żyją w bezpiecznym miejscu, razem z innymi kurami. Spacerują po dworze, grzebią w ziemi, wciąż trochę onieśmielone, ale jednak ciekawskie. Spośród kilkudziesięciu tysięcy musieliśmy wybrać zaledwie trzy. Nie wybieraliśmy. Po prostu zabraliśmy trzy z nich, starając się nie myśleć o tych, które zostawiamy. Te trzy uratowane kury są żywymi dowodami na to, że nawet zamknięte w klatkach, stłoczone tysiącami, nie są maszynami do produkcji jajek. Każda z nich jest inna, ma własny charakter i upodobania. Każda z nich zasługuje na życie poza fermą. Dziś uratowaliśmy trzy z nich. Miliony wciąż tam są i czekają na nasze działanie.
