葛根廟の壁畵

由緒ある神社仏閣等に壁画があるが如く、葛根廟本殿にも壁画がある。どう云ふ由緒ある絵であるか知らないが、なかなかの名匠の絵らしく一際輝いてゐるのである。長剣を持し竜を頭に頂いた神が、瑞雲に乗ちたところであるから、何か慶い偉い神であるかも知れない、筆者は、この図を見て、或は、喇嘛教中興の傑僧フアシヤンジヤルボが、喇嘛教を排撃した、西蔵の暴君を弑するさまではないかと思つたり、悪魔降伏の護法神の絵ではないかと思つたりしてゐる、兔に角、誰に聞いてもこの壁画の由緒を知つている人はない。
