聳え立てる二層の樓門は、名に負ふ榆關の西門である。榆關は人も知る長城の基點として關外關內の分界點、この關を一歩出づれば既に關內である。｜春秋の變遷には、幾度かこの門をめあてに鎬を削られしことか。毀れ落ちんとする城壁のあたり、雜草徒に伸びたるも憐れである。｜今城内は後退の奉天兵に埋り、新たなる展開を待つ。｜（一九二八、撮影）（印畫の複製を禁ず）
