Русский: «Когда я в первый раз самостоятельно вылетел на самолете – только я и машина, никого больше в кабине, – вот это были непередаваемые эмоции. Когда летел, я песни пел». Каково это – вести огромный самолет с сотней человек на борту? Чего боятся пилоты? Почему на один рейс не ставят родственников? Об этом съёмочная группа БЕЛТА узнала у Романа Ковалева, второго пилота компании «Белавиа».
Отец Романа был военным летчиком, приходил домой красивый, в форме. Разумеется, мальчику хотелось того же – вырасти и летать высоко в небе. Семья жила в Крыму, учился Роман в Кировограде. Но, что интересно, его отец родом из Беларуси. Поэтому после учебы предложил сыну: «А поехали на мою историческую родину, там попытаемся устроиться на работу». Так будущий пилот попал в «Белавиа». |
