English: Processes of combustion synthesis of barium hexaferrite (BaFe12O19) in an electric field with a voltage from 0 to 2.2 kV/m are presented. The boat was placed between two copper electrodes "+" and "-". During the combustion process, orientation of the flame towards the positive electrode is clearly visible. Electric fields allows to regulate combustion parameters as well as physico-chemical characteristics of the synthesized ferrite material.
