Description
Русский: Urostyla — род брюхоресничных инфузорий семейства Oxytrichidae длинной 220 - 300 мкм. Инфузории овальной формы, гибкие, дорсовентрально сплюснутые. Существует примерно 15 видов. Питаются бактериями, жгутиковыми, одноклеточными водорослями. Встречаются в застойных водах.
English: Urostyla is a genus ciliates of the Oxytrichidae family, 220–300 microns long.

Infusoria are oval, flexible, dorsoventrally flattened. There are about 15 species. They feed on bacteria, flagellated, unicellular algae. Meet in

stagnant waters.
