Українська: Голуб сизий здичавілий (Columba livia var. urbana Gmelin, 1789) — широко поширений птах роду голубів (Columba Linnaeus, 1758) родини голубових (Columbidae Leach, 1820). Птах давно одомашнений і розселений людиною по всій Європі. Згодом голуби повторно здичавіли, широко поширилися у світі і стали синантропами, звичними мешканцями міст та сіл.
Забарвлення мінливе, особливо у міських напівдиких птахів — всього налічують 28 різновидів забарвлення, так званих морф Сизий голуб харчується переважно рослинними кормами: насінням, ягодами, плодами фруктових дерев. У місцях мешкання людини легко пристосовується до вживання в їжу харчових відходів і зерна.English: The rock dove (Columba livia var. Urbana Gmelin, 1789) is a widespread bird of the columba genus (Columba Linnaeus, 1758) of the columbidae family (Columbidae Leach, 1820). The bird has long been domesticated and settled by humans throughout Europe. Eventually, the pigeons became wild again, spread widely in the world and became synanthropes, habitual inhabitants of towns and villages.
The color is variable, especially in urban semi-wild birds - there are a total of 28 types of color, the so-called morph. The rock dove feeds mainly on plant foods: seeds, berries, fruits.
