English: In Igbo culture in Eastern Nigeria, aja(sacrifice) is anything presented to the gods or your own personal God (chi) to appease, thank or beg for something.
Àjà must not be dropped in front of the Gods, it can be dropped anywhere including road, back of the house, river and lake etc. The content of aja varies depending on what the aja is for In the image above, the àjà is seeking and begging for something likely a child because of the contents.
