Description
English: Original listing and sheet music here: https://musescore.com/user/36482158/scores/20583004?from=youtube_share Carlotta Williamson (1869-1957) was a lifelong resident of the Boston, Massachusetts vicinity. She was a child prodigy at the piano and later applied her talents to composition, producing an assortment of pieces including some ragtime. I would say she is an overlooked composer, as all her ragtime scores are excellent but get limited attention. This could be her most notable and enduring piece, a rag written in the style of an intermezzo. It was published by her husband George Blandford and his Colonial Music Pub. Co. in Boston, MA.
