Summary

Description
English: Video of the "Saint John the Evangelist/San Juan Evangelista" Mexican Feather Mosaic, taken at the "Relatos Artísticos de la Conquista" exhibit at the Museo Franz Mayer, loaned from the Colección de Daniel Liebsohn.

The lighting and angle seen in the video demonstrates the iridescent, color changing, glittering nature of the mosaic: under different lighting and angles, this can be more or less visible then it is here.

16th-17th century (inconsistently documented between the two) Hummingbird and other Feathers and Paper on Copper sheet backing 36.3x25.8cm Loaned from the Col. Fundación Cultural Daniel Liebsohn, A.C
