Description
English: "Roman Wall" at Hare Hill At 2.5 metres high, this was long thought to be the highest extant section of Hadrian's Wall. More recently, however, it has been determined that the wall was largely if not entirely rebuilt in the 19th century. Seen from Since opening in 2003 Hadrians Wall National Trail which runs 84 miles from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend. http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/hadrianswall/
