Delightful cakewalk two-step by prolific composer Anita Owen, published in Chicago by Wabash Music in 1899. Not surprisingly it also appeared in the Nora Hulse CD "Cake Walks, Two Steps and Rags by Women Composers", being the 14th title from that CD I've featured in this series. Nora specialized in playing and researching pieces by women ragtime composers. (Thanks to JohnJ1995 for supplying the CD info).

The title is perplexing, as collywobbles means stomach ache.

Anita Owen didn't write a lot of ragtime, but she did compose this nice ragtime intermezzo, "Firefly": https://musescore.com/user/36482158/scores/7124284

Score #150 in my current ongoing series "Women Ragtime Composers" featuring interesting selections written by ragtime era women. Many more of these to come yet. Whole series is on Musescore at this link: https://musescore.com/user/36482158/sets/5111102

Original score source was Ted Tjaden's ragtimepiano.ca at this link: http://www.ragtimepiano.ca/images/collywobbles.pdf

This is a reproduction of the original score, no changes were made.
