@EPorto (WMB) and @MichellevL (WMNL) I have tested the upload and button and have 2 issues. 1) the WLM categegory is Category:Images from Wiki Loves Monuments 2022 in Suriname - Paramaribo. This should be Category:Images from Wiki Loves Monuments 2022 in Suriname and 2) the coordinates are not filled on the uploads. See File:Test upload 2.jpg and File:Test uplaud 3.jpg. Additional info: Category:Images from Wiki Loves Monuments 2022 in Suriname is already added so Category:Images from Wiki Loves Monuments 2022 in Suriname - Paramaribo should not be added at all. HenkvD (talk) 13:19, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, @HenkvD. This structure is similar to WLM Brazil, where we break the list of monuments by state (in this case, district) and add the specific categories of the location to the button in order to separate them. Maybe this is not needed on Suriname? If so, I can change the code to remove it. What do you think, @MichellevL (WMNL)?
Now, regarding the coordinates, that field should always be the geolocation of the camera, not of the monument, that's why it is not filled. This image, for example, that depicts a museum in foreground and Christ the Redeemer in the background, on the other side of the Guanabara Bay: If one put the coordinates of the statue, the information would be way off. Cheers, EPorto (WMB) (talk) 21:30, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@EPorto (WMB) for Suriname it is not needed to separate by districts. Please change the code and remove it. As for the coordinates: you are right that it should be the coordinate of the camera, not the coordinate of the monument/object. As far as I know it is impossible to add the object coordinates during the upload. HenkvD (talk)
Hi @EPorto (WMB) and @HenkvD, excuse my belated response! I agree that separate categories per district aren't necessary. And do I understand you correctly that participants aren't supposed to be able to add coördinates to their uploads? Is there anything else that needs our attention? MichellevL (WMNL) (talk) 11:35, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@HenkvD and @MichellevL (WMNL) Done, I removed the district category from the code. About the coordinates, one can manually add them during upload in Upload Wizard (as you can see in this file) by clicking "Add other information" below the ID field. If the image has EXIF metadata, this field is automatically filled in the upload. What we can't do is automatically put coordinates in them, that is by the participant's discretion or file information. EPorto (WMB) (talk) 19:12, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@MichellevL (WMNL) The translations and borders requests are up in the tool on Toolforge. EPorto (WMB) (talk) 07:47, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
