adding images manually (old upload form)

[edit]

As I am still using the old upload from I was wondering if there is something else to think of than to add the template {{Wiki Loves Pride 2019}} if I want to join the contest. Rule five says: The photos that are in any way related to the listed categories are eligible. Which list of categories? Related to LGBTQ I would add mine to Category:Regenbogenparade 2019. --Tsui (talk) 22:22, 21 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thumb rules of photography

[edit]

In the Judging criteria section is the phrase "thumb rules of photography". I'm familiar with a few "rules of thumb" for photography, but I don't know of any widely accepted, specific photography heuristics. I searched Google, but I could not find a universally accepted "thumb rules for photography" or similar. (I also searched for "photography rules of thumb".) For example: How to Compose a Photograph: 5 Essential Rules to Follow; 60 Street Photography Heuristics (Rules of Thumb) I Believe in and (try to) Follow; Visual Research Methods: Creating Visual Narratives. I could not find an article on the subject in the English Wikipedia (search results). I therefore added a clarify message. Markworthen (talk) 15:27, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
