Splitting this page up

[edit]

Please see the discussion at Commons talk:CJK stroke order project#Chinese stroke order on splitting the page up to reduce the number of parser function calls made here. --Swift (talk) 06:22, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect stroke count

[edit]

Does No. 14 have four or five strokes? The current count is five, but all the images look like four.

How to download all images, gif, png files?

[edit]

Is there an automated way to download all linked png and gif files?

Thanks, nice to know the project is still alive. I'll be using the images to create my personal flashcards deck.

PS: if you create a publicly available tool (free or for profit), please share the link with us. We will be happy to see our work used ; ) Yug (talk) 10:42, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'll happily share my work, well it's also built on someone else's work.. I'm trying to add stroke order images to this >> http://backsla.sh/anki/panki

Traditional or simplified?

[edit]

The page is titled "Simplified Chinese progress" but the table includes both simplified and traditional characters (e.g. No. 16 这 and 這).

It is also unclear which characters are simplified and which are traditional. Sometime a frequency appear twice such as №19 and the simplified character appears first. Other times it is the other way around such as №31. What gives?

Some frequencies are missing such as №4 (I guess wo3 should be there?).

Some frequencies are missing the simplified character such as №59.

Incorrect stroke order for 请

[edit]

The bw.png diagram for 请 has the strokes in Japanese order, not PRC order. The top-right component is where the difference is.

Typeface used in gifts

[edit]

What font and specific typeface is used for the gifts? Thanks--Backinstadiums (talk) 23:47, 15 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

HSK VOCABULARY

[edit]

At least every single character in the official HSK vocabulary should one in its entry --Backinstadiums (talk) 17:32, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
