Where did it go?

[edit]

I don't understand. I thought I posted an entry, but a few days later when I checked, it wasn't there. Maybe I was mistaken, so I posted it again. Definitely. But it's not there now. Unbuttered Parsnip (talk) 06:40, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Are you talking about "Firework display (competition) Gozo, Malta", which is still there? HelenOnline 08:39, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes and no - I posted two different pics, separately. Yes, one is there, but the other has gone.

That entry was removed by Llann Wé² with edit summary Removing file:Firework display (competition) Gozo, Malta 05.jpg : no light moving (EXIF : 0,0025 s). HelenOnline 15:45, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Yes I did removed it. As I wrote : time exposure is tooooo short, during 0,0025s the light didn't have time to move during the exposure. In the rules it was specified long time exposure. 1 second should have been a good time. --Llann .\m/ (Lie 2 me ...) 16:47, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well obviously it's moving - it's a moving firework. What may not be moving is the light source in any of the stroboscopic entries you have retained - the light source is static, so is the photographer, all that happens is the light pulsates. Unbuttered Parsnip (talk) 11:40, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Have a look at sample images and you'll see the light as enough time to impress the digital sensor and all other entries have a long time exposure -not alway 1 sec. Yours has only 0,0025s and it is too short to impress the digital sensor and let us see the light is moving on the picture.
With some light painting the one who holds the light is moving too but the exposure is long. Idem for the stobo entries. Regardless the kind of light source used if we can see the light at different places on the pic during the long exposure that's ok. Yours is not, sorry.
The EXIF of other pics : 15s, 30s, 3s, 13s, 2s, 1.6s, 3.2s, ...
Since it is a challenge with rules... --Llann .\m/ (Lie 2 me ...) 16:18, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
