Serious or satire?
[edit]Is this a serious essay? It makes some good points, but some parts seem not quite true, so I was confused. ++Lar: t/c 17:28, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

- Maybe Fred J is a chauvinist ? :) But a nice one. He is actually way more mellow than he's willing to admit. You just wait and see. ++Lar: t/c 18:15, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- These Swedes... :P (I know, I live with one...) Patrícia msg 20:00, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Hmmm, maybe that about women and about Germans should be removed (I'm half German so I think I can say that about Germans, but in case someone takes offense)... Please, do remove anything that is offending to you. / Fred J (talk) 16:51, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
Actually, to respond to Lar: yes, I did intend to be serious. Okay, parts of it sort of became satire.... it's not too easy to come up with arguments against being mellow. But -- as you said -- an essay could need a counter-essay.

- Okay I've removed both those parts myself :)

- How mellow of you. Oh, the irony. —LX (talk, contribs) 20:22, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
