My personal current situation / Meine persönliche aktuelle Situation

[edit]
English: For the past few months, I've been taking care of other topics. In the near future I want to dedicate myself to LrMediaWiki again. Probably in February or March. Currently a move is busy for me. Please pray with me that internet access will work in the new apartment ... After the move, I hope to find time for LrMediaWiki again. Then I will first go into the previous topics. Until then, I ask for some patience.
Deutsch: In den letzen Monaten hatte ich mich um andere Themen gekümmert. In nächster Zeit will ich mich wieder LrMediaWiki widmen.

Great to hear that you will continue to work on this tool. I look forward to working with you on future releases. Take your time and wish good luck with your move and new situation! Toresetre (talk) 00:18, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Hasenläufer,
It's great to know, that you are dedicated to keep LrMediaWiki alive. The other day, we were speculating about the future of the plug-in at the Photoworkshop in Vienna and we agreed, that it is an irreplaceable tool for many of us. If you need any assistance (resources), please let us know.
Cheers --MB-one (talk) 09:09, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@MB-one: Thanks for this! Unfortunately, in August I was not able to care about this theme. Is it really an "irreplaceable tool" for "many of us"? I hardly believe it. According to my perception it's a "nice to have"-tool for a small number of users. Maybe I am wrong with my perception. --Hasenläufer 02:18, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
For me it is an irreplaceable tool for sure. I really don't know if I would contribute to Commons without.
LrMediaWiki does all description automatically, and I don't believe that I would c&p it up to some hundert times per upload by hand. So description would be equal for all photos of an upload or there would be no upload. --Stepro (talk) 13:20, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It's definitly an irreplacable tool for me. I want to work in Lightroom throughout my publishing proccess, and I don't see how I could have contributed with a high number of photos without this tool. I am sure this goes for others too.
Flickr is an alternative as there are good plugins for publishing from Lightroom to their API, but Flickr they are moving away from their free service soon. This leaves Commons an even more important repository for free photos. Toresetre (talk) 15:54, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Hasenläufer: I agree with Stepro. Without LrMediaWiki, I would probably contribute significantly fewer own images. That said, I didn't intend to put any pressure on you by writing that. --MB-one (talk) 16:16, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think i would return to other tools. --Ailura (talk) 17:25, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I have incorporated LrMediaWiki into my normal workflow when developing images. Especially my Museums-uploads would be nearly impossible for me without the incorporation of the Artwork Template. Please keep up the good work. And hurry up and make the "Title" line an equivealent to the "Description" line. I.e. if an artwork has a title it may need a description in another language, but sometimes the title is already a sufficient descrption. --Wuselig (talk) 18:21, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
