Dear MEP,
This was the gate of the Artillery Barracks in Valencia, Spain. It doesn't exist anymore because it was declared as not a monument worth preserving. But this picture keeps its memory for those who spent their military service there and for the people who lived around it. It's a part of many people's memories. This picture, if AM421 is passed, will have to disappear. Nobody knows who owns the rights of the building on it, or of the gate itself. It's almost impossible to know who designed them and who is their legitimate successor, if there is any. So the paperwork needed to fulfill AM421 requirements to keep this picture in the public domain is impossible to do.
Please, help us keep public space pictures available to the public. Vote against AM421 on July 9.
Thank you.
