Organisation of Scotland
[edit]As a first stab, I've organised Scotland using the hated 1973 Local Government regions.
Some of this probably makes sense -- eg the Borders, or Highland, which have endured; but I have the impression that some were deeply unpopular (eg en:Strathclyde sometimes seen by some as an overgrown and remote monstrosity). So if anyone feels like making changes, feel free.
I had in mind principal cities and traditional counties for the next layer down, as more content comes in. But I defer to people with better knowledge, if and where borders of e.g. some present-day council areas make more sense. Jheald (talk) 19:01, 21 December 2013 (UTC)
