There's a page on meta where you can check which wikipedia's accept fair use. It's no point in recommending fair use to wikipedias that don't accept it. German, Polish and Swedish, for instance, don't. / Fred Chess 00:46, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean m:Fair use? That's a very incomplete list. If a complete list exists, by all means, give me the link!
I would assume that translators would delete the bit about fair use if they know their project doesn't allow fair use. Some translators did but some didn't. If you can correct any of the translations (remove a reference to fair use if it's not allowed), please go ahead and do so. pfctdayelise (translate?) 01:22, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sh = Sr

[edit]

I was told, when I asked someone for a translation into Sr., that Sr is the same is Sh. Can anyone verify if this is true?

Fred Chess 19:30, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think this problem was now solved, but feel free to comment. / Fred Chess 20:20, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
sh: is w:Serbo-Croatian language, sr: is w:Serbian language. pfctdayelise (translate?) 23:41, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hebrew

[edit]

Can someone please fix the one-line summary of Hebrew? / Fred Chess 21:38, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I won't remove any images from Hebrew Wikipedia until such is present. I can't understand their right-to-left typing, so I won't use the long version, and I've already been warned for vandalism once (or rather, I think I have, I can't read it, but there is a big warning triangle). / Fred Chess 18:22, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ok this has been fixed. / Fred Chess 09:06, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

牌坊

[edit]

牌坊里的照片都是牌坊,用石头做的也是。没有错误--Shizhao 15:50, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

清华大学的校门,似乎不应该算作牌坊。--Fanghong 08:50, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake; delete away. I'm currently following your process for orphaning this image on the project. Viriditas 03:38, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just found Image:SL-hoops.jpg. Could you check that as well? The license says Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0, but the commons license says cc2.0. Viriditas 04:12, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I believe the same thing happened to me as well. When I originally uploaded the photo, I'm pretty sure it was Cc-by-2.0. Viriditas 10:39, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
