[edit]The user interface will be upgraded in the next phase after the backend has been refactored. The work will focus on enhancing the control point interface. We also look into the possibility of including a maps search.
Wikimaps site
[edit]The Wikimaps site structure will collect information about historical mapping projects that the tools have been used for. The site structure will be made to facilitate smooth transition from one tool to the other. iD editor for OpenHistoricalMap will be included.
Mass operations for uploads

[edit]The project actively tries to bridge between projects that produce linked geographic data. It is our aim to connect that to Wikidata and participate in modelling the use of historical geodata in Wikidata.
